Fathead Pizza – Low Carb Pizza Crust

I finally decided to try making Fathead Pizza after seeing so many positive reviews! Pizza is my husbands favorite foods, so I always look for great low carb pizza recipes! Here is the final product…


Review: Fathead Pizza was a win! It’s extremely quick and easy to make and tastes really good! I still really like the cauliflower crust pizza if you want to limit the amount of cheese you’re eating, but you can’t beat the simplicity of the fathead recipe. I highly recommend trying this recipe if you have a pizza craving! Low carb alternatives are a key to success for me, so don’t be afraid to search for low carb recipes of your favorite foods!

    I am wondering since the base is cooked separately and then toppings are added to be heated, do you think that the base could be made and cooked in “bulk” ahead of time and frozen? Do you know if anyone has tried it?

      I find that during the thawing process, the cauliflower gets too runny…But you can try it and see if it works out better for you! Let me know what you find out!

        Unlike many other low carb pizza recipes, the Fathead Pizza doesn’t have any cauliflower…

    I made the fathead dough and I’m in love with that recipe. I made flat bread with it and it’s a great for tacos, or whatever. Thanks for posting your journey!

    I am trying to figure out how you got 10-12 slices? How many would be a serving? Mine is about 9 inches diameter

      It depends on how thick you make the crust.

    The diameter on mine is 9 as well but the thickness of crust is not flat it is medium. Would eating half of the pie at one sitting but okay?

    hi suzanne thank you so much for the recipe. being on keto for 6 months, i only tried making fathead pizza for the first time yesterday. unfortunately my pizza making attempt failed because….i ate the crust! it was sooooo good and so easy to make. and surprisingly it tasted very much like bread and was very fluffy. not sure if it was supposed to be like this because it looks nothing like the pics on ditchthecarbs’ website, hers look really dense whereas mine are more airy. i see it as a good thing because i finally found a bread replacement, so thank you!
