Keto Grocery Haul – Costco 2019

Hey guys,

I stopped in Costco this week and found a lot of great keto-friendly items! Hope you enjoy this grocery haul!

P.S. The egg thins were really good. They are super thin, but actually hold up really well. They passed the kid test, and we will be buying them again for sure!

Loved your Costco haul video. I bought the crepini egg thins too but my package states they have 3 net carbs. Is yours s different brand? BTW I bought the costco protein bars and at 3 -4 net carbs they are delicious and help when I have a sweet tooth. I am also obsessed with the egg bites. I have them almost every morning for breakfast.

Thanks for the Costco update. I’m intrigued by the Egg Thins. I’m always on the hunt for sandwich alternatives. Let us know how you like them. Also, are these and the Egg Bites found in the freezer section at Costco?

I bought the sliced cheese in your video but I’m not sure how to bake them or at what temperature for how long. I have both your books and I don’t see a recipe for just the cheese thins. I see several recipes for cheese crackers in your books but not just for the cheese slices please help !

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Add cheese slices leaving about 1/2-inch between. Bake 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool (they will firm up as they cool) and enjoy!

Can’t wait to try the egg thins. I have a question I have read through a large part of your blog & I am going to order your book but I was wondering do you workout or did you workout during your journey? If you have answered this question somewhere I am so sorry I missed it. Thank you.

SO happy for your success. Hope to join you soon!

Reading your blog I’ve gotten rid of 4.8 pounds in just 3 days! So excited. Getting your book this week. I have PCOS & several others illnesses that are super painful. I gained loads of weight eating the way doctors told me to eat for PCOS. My doctor doesn’t think Keto is a good diet. I really don’t care at this point. I wanted to try it a long time ago but because of what he said I didn’t. Thank you for sharing your journey.

My sister has PCOS and she was trying to get pregnant for 6 years. After researching Keto she did it it to help manage her hormones and hoped to lose enough weight for IVF. It works so well she got pregnant naturally after losing 60 pounds in a few months. She miscarried but she did not give up and she got pregnant naturally again after losing another 40 pounds she has a beautiful baby girl now. She is back on Keto again and plans to keep it up unless she gets another pregnancy. 🙂

I have 5 kids already but my hormones started going wacky this last year and the doctor found that I had polyps causing my irregular and extremely heavy bleeding. So I am trying it to see how it helps me. I had a hysteroscopy (like a D&C but with a scope to see if I had a fibroid) and after the procedure they asked if I wanted juice or crackers and I said no I am doing the Keto diet and the nurse said, “Oh me too” and we laughed because the hospital had so few “healthy” choices for snacks.

Your Costco seems to be much more keto friendly than mine. I can’t even find some of that stuff on their site 🙁

Going to try again this weekend and do a really thorough search! I may just have to make a list and see if I can’t get them to order some of that here.

Hi Suzanne! I bought your book and you have inspired me so much! I’m 6″1″ and started at 264. I started Keto 2 weeks ago and am now down 8 lbs!! A friend at work already noticed! Yay. I bought the blood test strips and have only hit a .7 after week one. Did it again today after week 2, and it’s a .6 I was hoping for a higher ketosis number. I had no artificial sweetener today, or nuts or dairy except hwc in my coffee this am. Should I be concerned or is this ok? Technically I know I’m in ketosis, but just barely. Any tips?

Hey there. Generally speaking, I never worried about having higher ketone levels. .5 or higher is in ketosis.

I love those egg thins. I eat them 2 different ways. Either with a fried egg and avocado or with the choc zero and kerrigold when I need a little sweet taste. I just heat them up in the micro for 30 seconds and they are like a little crepe.

I have been doing Keto since January and love it, of course with Suzanne’s book. I have lost 28 pounds, almost half of my goal. I discovered the egg thins at Costco a couple months ago and love them. They are so versatile. I like to spread a touch of cream cheese and fill with cut up blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries and roll them into crepes and top with Keto whipped cream. Very yummy! Thanks for your inspiration, Suzanne!

I just found you today while searching on Amazon for Keto items. I ordered your book and am going to give this a try. I am 52, weigh 239 and need to lose about 100lbs. I am hoping I can do this. Thank you for your inspiration.

I use them to wrap simple and low-carb sandwich ingredients like deli meat (check the labels though), cheese, pickles, onions, and mustard.

I am diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and have had my gall bladder removed years ago. I thought losing weight would be next to impossible because of not having a gall bladder but your story has given me hope.

My doctor does recommend KETO but is also concerned about my glucose levels being above 200. I don’t want to start taking insulin or other drugs and am getting help from a dietitian who also recommends KETO plus essential oils. I’m a huge believer in the oils

I’m also curious about the KETO accelerator seen on Shark Tank. Do you have any info on that?

Hey there. Those pills are a scam, so best to avoid them, they were actually never on shark tank.

On the cheese that you purchased from Costco, the individual small slices, you mentioned putting them on parchment paper and placing them in the oven to make cheese chips. Any recommendations on the temp of the oven and length of time to cook. Thanks Janet.

Hi Suzanne!! My hubs and I absolutely love your recipes. He asked me how in the world did you still lose weight trying to find the right measurements to make these recipes. He said that you used your hubs as a guinea pig. I said…lucky guy!! LOL
