In the past, when I’ve bought a cookbook for a new diet, there’s only about four or five recipes that look good. But, with your book everything looks amazing. I’ve tried the brownies, chili, deviled eggs, and my favorite so far cream cheese pancakes. I also love that your morning coffee is simple, I don’t have to pull out ten items from the pantry to make coffee. Thank you, so much for your hard work and transparency.

Christmas list! I started yesterday, went shopping today at Trading Joe’s and set my self up! Did you find it difficult in the beginning to count calories and put in all the info for each thing you ate? Into the app My Fitness. I found an app that finds the food and already knows the calorie, carb, fat and protein ratio, is that okay to use instead, as long as I’m careful about portions? Thank you, sally

I just got your book. So far I have just read to page 17. So far I am loving it. I went to the book store and looked at every “Keto” book they had. 20 books. I decided to take 4 home and sat down with a coffee to decide what ones made the cut. I am so glad I kept yours, it’s the first one I’m reading and I feel very positive.
I am 30 to 40 lbs overweight. That didn’t bother me much, I’m older and after menopause woman often gain weight. And true to menopause form…it’s all in my waist! But I have so far beat cancer, had a double mastectomy with no reconstruction done. With a completely flat chest and a big belly I do have people think I am pregnant, at almost 60 years old!
I also know how lucky I am, and just like your decision to get healthy, I don’t want to waste my good fortune with putting cancer behind me. I am lucky that I can strive for good health. I know your book will help me. Thank You!

I have tried the Keto diet for months, but non weight dropped????????????, even though with 1~2 hours workout in the gym every weekdays.. Expect thing’s can be changed with following the instructions from your book. Sigh… Let’s see..

It’ has been so easy to lose the weight,but best of all is no more type 2 diabetes high cholesterol acid reflux and lab test that were out of control. Within a few months my Dr. couldn’t even believe the changes in my lab test, everything was in normal range and I was able to get off the meds. I have gotten many of my friends to go on keto and they are having great results also. You have a great story and inspire others to tell their stories. I’am Hispanic and love Mexican food,and have been able to adapt the Mexican food to low carb. I don’t know if you do any recipes for Mexican food, but if you need some I can send you some of mine, there very easy to make. I will be getting your book and wish you continued success and glad you are help others. Thank you.

September 13, 2018 at 8:41 pmWow, your book is totally awesome! A million years ago my husband & I went on “Atkins”. My husband lost weight & loved the food/recipes. I did not lose weight, got constipated (TMI, I know, sorry!) & came to adhore the food. So much wonderful stuff has happened since then in the arena of a low carb/high fat lifestyle. I love your book, love it! Love the color photos of each recipe. Love the introduction which explains & has easy-to-understand charts, tips & suggested testing protocols & tools. And the reasons behind them all. Love the resources so you can further research & get on-board. Love the idea that you outline Internet sites. Love the recipes; right now the breakfast recipes have saved my soul. I needed more than scrambled eggs. I love that you explain substitutions & when items can be saved in the fridge or freezer. I have a minimalist kitchen (which I am very happy with), so I am not going out for anything but a spiralizer, which I have been tempted to get before embarking on this Keto journey. I may have trouble in rural NH getting some items, but with your book & site, this shouldn’t be a big obstacle. I will be able to come up with a broad menu. I am so ready to do this – with my husband – and have success! Thank you for opening my eyes!

November 16, 2018 at 11:16 pmJust got your book and will start reading it this weekend. I have tried pretty well every diet out there with little to no results so I am hoping this one is it. I will admit, this whole keto thing goes against 30 years worth of going low fat/high carb/low calorie that nutritionist have had me follow. This will be a total 180degree reversal of mind set, that will be my biggest challenge but I have to take it on, options are running out.

November 17, 2018 at 7:18 pmafter being diagnosed with Type II diabetes the 1st part of Aug., 2018, I started on the Keto diet with goal of lowering my A1C from 6.6 to refrain from having to take medication. First of Nov. my A1C was 5.5! I’ve lost about 20 lbs in the process, for which I’m grateful, but the important aspect to me was lowering the A1C. I feel great, and will continue on the regimen to keep my blood sugar normal. Thank you, Suzanne, for the wonderful recipes.

I’m a lifetime weight watchers member which has always worked for me when I followed the program. I started the program again Jan 1 and even with exercise, the only weeks I lose are when I only eat my daily allowance, not my weekly points. That just isn’t feasible and I’m hungry all the time. Bottom line, last week I decided to try Keto and was doing tons of research but every site offers different information and it gets confusing. I picked up your book over the weekend just for the recipes but started reading about your journey and why Keto and couldn’t put it down. Thank you so much for sharing your journey and writing a book that is easy to understand, offers not only a great shopping list but best place to buy and DELICIOUS recipes.
