How To Make Grilled Salmon With Avocado Salsa
It couldn’t be simpler to make this delicious meal for your family. Start by mixing the oil, salt, pepper, and chili powder in a small bowl. Coat the salmon fillets with the powder mixture and set aside while you prepare the salsa.
Next, lightly toss the diced avocados, onion, lime juice, garlic, cilantro and oil in a separate bowl. The recipe calls for 2 small avocados, but one large one will work too. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Place the salsa in the fridge until ready to use.
Oil a grill pan or prepare your outdoor grill with cooking spray. Grill the salmon on high heat for 2-3 minutes on each side, until the internal temperature of the salmon reaches 145 degrees. Spoon the avocado salsa evenly over each salmon fillet, and dinner is ready!
Grilled salmon with avocado salsa is a light, fresh meal perfect for a meal outside on long summer nights. The tender, light salmon pairs perfectly with the tangy onion, citrus, bright cilantro, and creamy avocado in the salsa. I hope your family enjoys it as much as mine does.
