As you know, I’m a big fan of meal prepping to make my weeks easier and more convenient. Since I enjoy breakfast so much, I’m always looking for new recipes that will satisfy that morning hunger, without being too heavy. These keto maple scones fit the bill. I like that they’re a little sweet, and that just a small piece is filling enough to get me through my busy morning.
And these scones couldn’t be easier to make! With just 10 minutes of prep time, and a total of 20 minutes of baking time, this recipe quickly became a recipe I make regularly.
Easy To Make Keto Maple Scones
Begin by preheating the oven to 325 degrees. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper for easy clean up.
Whisk together sour cream, egg, sugar-free syrup, and golden lankanto in a large mixing bowl. Stir in the flours, baking powder, and salt. Mix to incorporate well. Let the dough sit for 5 minutes.
Lightly grease your hands. You can use a neutral-flavored oil like canola oil. Use your hands to form the dough into a large ball and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Flatten it to a 6-inch round disk.
Slice into 6 wedges as if slicing a pizza. You can use a sharp knife or even a pizza cutter. Next, separate the scones evenly across the baking sheet.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the scones are browned on top. Place the scones on a cooling rack and cool completely before serving. Enjoy keto maple scones with a warm cup of coffee, tea, or even a hot chocolate!

May 1, 2022 at 2:19 pmI made these this morning for a sweet snack, I made an icing with swerve powdered sweetener, a 1/2 tsp of vanilla and a bit of heavy cream to put on top of each scone. These were so easy to make and so delicious.
