BBQ Cheeseburgers: You Won’t Miss the Bun!

Print recipe

Is there anything better than a delicious, juicy loaded burger? These delicious BBQ Cheeseburgers are full of flavors and textures. They’re keto-friendly and I promise you will not miss the bun.

This recipe takes less than 30 minutes from start to finish to make this meal for 6, so it’s perfect for busy evenings or even for meal prepping (these burgers reheat well.) You can wrap the burgers in butter lettuce leaves, or eat the burger by itself topped with your favorite low-carb burger toppings. Pickles, fresh tomatoes, and red onions are my favorites.

Quick and easy recipe for bbq cheeseburgers.

How To Make Delicious Keto-Friendly BBQ Cheeseburgers

Begin by combining the ground beef, garlic, ⅓ cup keto-friendly BBQ sauce (reserve the rest for later), egg, half and half, crushed pork rinds, salt, and pepper in a large mixing bowl. Mix together well using your hands.

Now form the mixture into 6 even-sized patties. Each should be about ¾ inch thick. Brush one side of each of the burgers with ½ of the reserved BBQ sauce.

Next, place the patties, sauce side down, on a preheated grill sprayed with non-stick cooking spray. If you don’t have a grill, you can just fry them in a pan as well. Brush the rest of the BBQ sauce onto the tops of the burgers. Cook for 4 minutes and then flip over. Top each patty with one slice of cheese. While this recipe calls for cheddar, you can use any of your favorite cheeses. Grill for an additional 3-5 minutes, to the doneness of your liking.

And if you’re a fan of burgers, don’t miss trying this Cheeseburger Casserole, too!
