Avocado Lime Deviled Eggs

Print recipe

One of my favorite appetizers to serve and snacks to have on hand are deviled eggs. Most people seem to love them! Not only are they quick to make, they’re also hard to mess up. These avocado lime deviled eggs are my favorite! They’re packed full of flavor and make for a fun twist on traditional deviled eggs.

Can you believe these eggs take only 15 minutes to make? The prep time doesn’t include the time it takes to hard boil the eggs. You can definitely hard boil eggs on your own, or if you’re looking to save some time, you can buy them at your local grocery store. Just look for hard boiled eggs (they’re even already taken out of the shells for you!) in the egg section.

Here’s how easy it is to make these avocado lime deviled eggs. Start by cutting each hard boiled egg in half, lengthwise. Next, carefully remove the egg yolk from each egg and crumble them into a medium sized mixing bowl.

Now add the avocado, mayo, lime juice, garlic powder, and cumin into the bowl. Mix everything together until smooth so there are no lumps of egg yolk. Taste the mixture and season with salt, pepper, and your favorite hot sauce to taste.

Use a spoon or piping bag to fill each hollowed out egg white generously with the avocado mixture. Garnish with chopped cilantro. You could also add a bit of finely chopped scallion, too!
